The short, dense coat needs just a weekly brush to stay tidy. Those long ears require regular checks and cleaning to avoid infection. Loose facial skin benefits from occasional wiping. Bathe only when genuinely dirty.

Bred as a versatile hunting dog, the Bracco needs close to an hour of activity daily. Walks, scent work, and field activities suit them perfectly. They have steady endurance built for long days in the field. Mental stimulation through scent games keeps them genuinely content.
